Oregon has the most indecisive weather, due to this, Ayla and Nate’s engagement shoot had already been rescheduled from a day full of downpour. The morning of their rescheduled shoot started off with a thick cold fog that settled in everywhere. The location we met them at was thankfully about an hour away at the Mount Pisgah Arboretum, so the drive there was long enough that the fog had lifted slightly by the time we started. The lovely couple had brought their adorable French Bulldog, Sam, with them who was absolutely ecstatic to be out and about at a park. Since Amber and Ayla have known each other for several years, the atmosphere was quite casual and fun. Nate and Ayla had not done a couple shoot before, so we started out with some very simple candid family photos with Sam. Once we had taken a few of those, they had grown more comfortable in front of the camera, so their love was captured in its most natural state throughout the shoot. The location had a gorgeous, large rustic barn which turned out as the perfect background for most of their photos. Though the weather was 10x better than rain, it was still very cold that morning, so we quickly finished the shoot off with some cute photos of the couple amongst the parks beautiful trees.
